Trevor Noah jokes that we’ll be paying off student debt in heaven. He’s not wrong.


For those of us with student loan debt, it often feels like you’ll never be rid of the burden of repayments. Trevor Noah tackled America’s $1.5 trillion student debt crisis and the fact that student loans have no statute of limitations — they can quite literally follow you until you die. “We hope that’s where it stops,” he said. “It was suck if you were still paying off your loans in heaven.” “Jesus and Martin Luther King Jr. are like, ‘hey we’re gonna go ride unicorns, you wanna come?’ and you’re like ‘uh I can’t.
